NEW ORLEANS (AP) .- Elton John, The Who, Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga will headline this year's Festival of Jazz in New Orleans. The festival annually attracts hundreds of thousands of music lovers flock to New Orleans for two weekends of jazz, blues, Cajun, zydeco and gospel.

Most of the artists are from Louisiana but participating musicians from around the country.
This year will also be Pitbull, No Doubt, Keith Urban, John Legend, Ed Sheeran and Chicago. Among local favorites that will return this time are the Queen of Soul of New Orleans Irma Thomas, Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews , singer and pianist Allen Toussaint and The Meters.
It also will pay tribute to singer and pianist Fats Domino, the Hall of Fame Rock `n 'Roll. The festival will be held on 24, 25 and April 26 and April 30 , 1, 2 and 3 May.
Tickets go on sale Tuesday through Ticketmaster. In all, hundreds of artists will perform in more than a dozen scenarios in the Fair Grounds Race Course, where pavilions will be mounted food and crafts typical of the town.
