Meagan Good, the actress who was victimized in the celebrity photo hack, said that the perpetrators who leaked the photos online should be ashamed.
“I’m definitely in shock,” she said, according to Us Magazine. “Saddened for everyone who is experiencing this. But I choose not to give the persons responsible my power.”
“At the end of the day — we all know these pictures were for my husband,” Good added, referring to businessman DeVon Franklin, her husband.

She also added: Oh yeah and for everyone who’s reposting the leaked nudes? You should be ashamed of yourself… you have a blessed day now.”
The photos were part of the latest “Fappening” leak that took place over the weekend. A few weeks ago, celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton were victims of the leak, but new photos emerged of actresses and singers like Gabrielle Union, Good, Kim Kardashian, and others, reported the Washington Post.
“[It] has come to our attention that our private moments, that were shared and deleted solely between my husband and myself, have been leaked by some vultures,” Union also said in a statement. “I can’t help but to be reminded that since the dawn of time women and children, specifically women of color, have been victimized, and the power over their own bodies taken from them. These atrocities against women and children continue worldwide.”
A few weeks ago, Apple said that its iCloud service was compromised, leading to the leak.
“We wanted to provide an update to our investigation into the theft of photos of certain celebrities. When we learned of the theft, we were outraged and immediately mobilized Apple’s engineers to discover the source. Our customers’ privacy and security are of utmost importance to us,” it said.
“After more than 40 hours of investigation, we have discovered that certain celebrity accounts were compromised by a very targeted attack on user names, passwords and security questions, a practice that has become all too common on the Internet. None of the cases we have investigated has resulted from any breach in any of Apple’s systems including iCloud® or Find my iPhone. We are continuing to work with law enforcement to help identify the criminals involved.”
