"A New Day" by Secada, will be released in English and Spanish in the United States on October 7.
The Cuban-born singer Jon Secada and Colombian Shakira had a touch for the authorship of a song that kept them away some time when both were under the direction of producer Emilio Estefan .

"I had a brush with Shakira became a teaching of what an artist can feel when he believes in his career so much," Secada said in an interview with Notimex.
