The high-end boutiques Kim Kardashian and Kanye West visited during their three hour shopping spree in Sydney

They’ve got wardrobes bursting with luxury goods, and some of the world’s best designers on speed dial. So it was never going to be a quick trip when Kim Kardashian and Kanye West set out on a shopping expedition in Sydney. The couple, who are in Australia as Kanye tours his Yeezus show around the country, visited some of the city’s most high-end – and high priced – boutiques in a three hour shopping session which began at Hermes in the city.

Retail therapy: Kim Kardashian and Kanye west enjoyed a shopping spree in Sydney on Sunday, beginning at luxury Parisian designer Hermes in the city

Frenzy: The famous couple caused chaos when word got out of their Hermes visit, with fans descending on the corner of Elizabeth and Market streets to get a glimpse of the pair

The corner of Elizabeth and Market streets became a circus when hundreds of fans gathered outside as Kim and her rap star husband set foot in the Sydney outlet of the luxurious Parisian retailer.

The brunette owns many pairs of shoes and bags from the label – the latter of which can easily cost in excess of $10,000 – including a handbag custom-painted by critically acclaimed artist George Condo that Kanye gave his wife for Christmas last year.
But despite the couple’s Hermes obsession, they left the store empty-handed before being whisked away to their next destination – Australian designer Josh Goot’s boutique at shopping destination The Intersection on Oxford Street in Paddington.
Looking Goot! Kim and Kanye then headed to Australian designer Josh Goot's boutique at The Intersection in Paddington

The pair’s visit to the designer is no accident: Josh Goot is the boyfriend of Vogue Australia fashion editor and street style star Christine Centenera, who Kanye hired to advise him on the launch of his debut fashion line in 2011.
The pair has worked closely for some years on Kanye’s various fashion projects, and the Gold Digger singer is said to be a big fan of Centenera’s aesthetic.
It was at Josh Goot that Kim made her first purchase of the day, with her husband pulling out the plastic to pay for a sleek black skirt she found on the rack; a similar design retailing for $625 on the brand's website.
An insider told Daily Mail Australia Kim would likely have purchased the label’s key looks of the season: a range of pieces in the ‘clean cotton drill’ print and a grey and white cotton trench coat.
Maybe following advice from Sydney local Centenera, boutique was the order of the day for the super-famous couple as they left Josh Goot and headed to another Oxford Street store, Assin.

I want! The brunette eyed off a black skirt on the rack, which Kanye pulled out his credit card to pay for

Decisions, decisions: At cutting-edge boutique Assin, Kim perused the racks and seemed to be drawn to black pieces, inspecing a long-sleeved black top as husband Kanye shopped closeby

What do you think, honey? The 33-year-old lifted up a long woolen cardigan and appeared to hold it up to Kanye seeking his opinion

Favoured by serious fashionistas, the boutique is a carefully curated edit of cutting-edge international labels like Maison Martin Margiela and Ann Demeulemeester.
Kim perused racks of black clothes and held them up for her husband's approval.
Next on the agenda was Parlour X, another Sydney store with an impeccable lineup of both local and international designer labels, including Kim’s favourites Celine, Balenciaga and Saint Laurent.

Not done yet: The famous couple completed their expedition with a stop at designer boutique Parlour X in Paddington, where an eyewitness told Daily Mail Australia they bought at least four large bags of goods

Haul: A security guard carries three large bags loaded with goodies purchased by Kanye West and Kim Kardashian at Parlour X in Paddington

Kim must have found what she’d been looking for, with an eyewitness telling Daily Mail Australia: 'Kim's security guards emerged from Parlour X carrying four large shopping bags, one of which was packed with shoes.’
'The pair were spirited through the back door after crowds gathered on the pavement outside the front entrance.'
Kim and Kanye clearly share a love of shopping, the couple going on a similar spree during their time in Melbourne earlier in the week.
No stranger to Australian designers, Kim has worn local labels including Josh Goot, Camilla and Marc, Johanna Johnson and swimwear brand N.L.P.
