The US publication seemed quite keen to let the Twitterverse know they weren't responsible for the award after they were flooded with tweets questioning it
Not everyone seemed to be happy about Kim Kardashian scooping the award for Woman of The Year at last week's British GQ bash.
One user tweeted: "I held y'all to a higher standard that's all. Woman of the year!? For what?"
Eventually the US magazine took to Twitter to let readers know they had nothing to do with Kim's accolade.
On Monday they tweeted: "Good morning, citizens of the UK. We're still GQ US, and we still gave no awards. Congratulations on the new royal baby, though."
They also retweeted @stevecookl_32 who posted: "@GQMagazine names Kim Kardashian woman of the year! sMH GQ=Goodbye Quality."
To which they responded: It's Gentlemen's Quarterly. And, wrong GQ."
Ouch.
Last week Kim was named GQ's Woman of The Year at the London bash, where she dazzled in a see-through glitzy gown and tiny black shiny bodice.
Speaking after the event, Kim said: "I don't know [where I'll put the award], maybe next to Kanye's Grammys?"
