Warning: if you have a device with older versions of Android, you are exposed to security risks . And it is a problem that Google has decided not to fix.

The 60% of smartphone and tablet Android has installed versions prior to KitKat (the 4.4) : this exposes them to a bug caused by the web browser. Adrian Ludwig, Android security chief, said in a post that the bug will not be addressed for practical reasons, in fact, leaving millions of people exposed to possible hacker attacks.

With so many versions of the same operating system, the constant updating for Google is complicated, but it is also true that not everyone can do the update of the phone to the latest versions of Android.

No shortage of  criticism  for the choice of non-intervention on the part of Google. Ludwig for now suggests users at risk of using a browser other than the default , that is, to navigate with Google Chrome since version 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) on, or Mozilla Firefox (from Gingerbread and later).
