Kim Kardashian Gives Update on Lamar Odom, Talks Scott Disick & Her 'Miserable' Pregnancy

By Marc Inocencio:

Reality star Kim Kardashian and her family have been put through the wringer over the past couple of months. In October, her estranged brother-in-law Lamar Odom was found unresponsive at the Love Ranch in Crystal, Nevada and admitted to a Las Vegas hospital in critical condition.

After spending a few days at Sunrise Hospital under intensive care, Lamar awoke from his coma and has since been flown by medical helicopter to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. to continue treatment. On Friday morning, Kim called On Air with Ryan Seacrest to give an update on Lamar’s current status.

“He’s here and he’s alive, but to say it’s not a long road and to say he’s fully better is not the truth either,” she says. “He has a lot of work to do and a lot of communication therapy and having to learn to walk again and to talk again. You never know if he’ll ever be the same again.”

Kim’s sister Khloe Kardashian, who is now dating James Harden of the Houston Rockets, put her entire life on hold to give Lamar her around-the-clock support. Despite Khloe and Lamar’s marriage fallout in 2013, Kim tells OAWRS the two share a special relationship that will never burn out.

“Lamar is family and he’ll always be family, we’ll always do what we can to help take care of him, and protect him, and be there for him,” she adds. “It’s a really unfortunate, sad situation all the way around the board, and I just encourage people to keep on praying because the road is nowhere near over.”

As Lamar continues his long road to recovery, the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan are providing eldest sister Kourtney Kardashian solace following her highly-publicized split from longtime boyfriend Scott Disick. According to Kim, Season 11 of Keeping Up with the Kardashians — which premieres this Sunday at 9 p.m. on E! — will focus on Kourt’s relationship woes and her adjustment to becoming a single mother.

“She shared a lot about her relationship with Scott this season and you get to see their journey,” she reveals. “She is so strong. She’s raising the three kids. It’s really hard. Three kids, especially by yourself, has been an adjustment for her. You never thought this cycle would really end of Kourtney and Scott, which was kind of the same thing for 10 years.”

She adds, “Scott is family, too. He’ll always be in our lives so we want the best for him. He’s getting help and he’s been doing so good and that makes me happy too.”

On Kim’s end, she’s counting down the days until she finally delivers her second child with husband Kanye West. Kim, 35, has been very candid about her fertility struggles and sees her second pregnancy as a blessing — but still, she is “so over” the symptoms.

“It doesn’t mean I have to like it,” she admits, “and it doesn’t mean I have to be honest about how miserable it is that you have swollen feet and heartburn — it’s the worst.”

So will she have another baby? “I’m very content with just having two,” she reveals. “My husband needs a lot of attention, each kid needs a lot of attention, I work a lot, [and] I want to be able to give everyone just the same amount of attention.”
