Aamir Khan’s controversial movie "PK" box office collections beat all that Bollywood threw at it, but Kangana Ranaut’s Queen amazingly, manages a mission impossible – take the fight to the top grosser, albeit in a ‘different’ way.
Well, they say records are created to be broken, and that holds very true for Bollywood. In this special report, we take a look at the records created at the box office in 2014.
Not surprisingly, it is the Rajkumar Hirani directed Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer PK that holds most of the records, breaking the ones set by previous releases.
However, despite the film’s stunning box office run, it is the Kangana Ranaut and Lisa Haydon starrer Queen that emerges as the film with the Highest Opening Day, Weekend, Week to Lifetime multiple.
Simultaneously, the Sunny Leone starrer Ragini MMS 2 is the Highest Grossing ‘A’ certificate film of 2014.
